How to Measure Your Head for a Wig

Getting the perfect fit for your custom wig is essential for comfort and style. Follow these simple steps to measure your head accurately, so we can create a wig that fits you like a glove!

What You’ll Need:

- A flexible measuring tape

- A mirror

- A pen and paper to record your measurements

Step 1: Measure Your Circumference

This measurement is the most important for determining your wig size.

1. Place the measuring tape at your front hairline.

2. Wrap it around your head, going just above your ears and around the nape of your neck, back to the front hairline.

3. Make sure the tape is snug but not too tight.

4. Write down this measurement.

Step 2: Measure from Front to Nape

This measurement helps determine the length of your wig.

1. Place the measuring tape at your front hairline, in the center of your forehead.

2. Run it over the top of your head, down to the nape of your neck where your hairline ends.

3. Write down this measurement.

Step 3: Measure Ear to Ear Across the Forehead

This measurement ensures the wig will fit well across your forehead and temples.

1. Place the measuring tape at the top of one ear.

2. Bring it across your forehead to the top of your other ear.

3. Write down this measurement.

Step 4: Measure Ear to Ear Over the Top

This measurement helps with the width of the wig.

1. Place the measuring tape at the top of one ear.

2. Run it across the top of your head to the top of the other ear.

3. Write down this measurement.

Step 5: Measure Temple to Temple Around the Back

This measurement ensures the wig will fit snugly around the back of your head.

1. Place the measuring tape at one temple.

2. Run it around the back of your head to the other temple, following the hairline.

3. Write down this measurement.

Step 6: Measure the Nape of Your Neck

This measurement helps to ensure a secure fit at the back.

1. Place the measuring tape at one side of your nape.

2. Run it along the base of your neck to the other side.

3. Write down this measurement.
